We had a great time at this wedding!  The weather was perfect, Kristina was beautiful and Frederick was, well…a very sharp dressed man. The ceremony, lined with Saber Guards, was amazing.  The reception was a blast and we truly didn’t want the night to end!

I always enjoy the trip to Auburn and once again the opportunity to work with Cheryl at her beautiful hillside venue Headquarter House. If you’re looking for that wedding venue that will offer you blue skies, a gentle breeze and a picture perfect setting, this is the place.  Cheryl and her staff are outstanding, nothing but professional service, great food and courteous care.

There, capturing it all was Barton D. Brown. This was the first time I had the pleasure of working with him.  Barton was able to create some amazing photos, especially with the scenery that this venue provides.

Frederick and Kristina paid us a compliment from the heart and while we always appreciate kudos, being in a position to make the day a memorable one is our pleasure.

So I’ll be honest and say that this blog thing is new territory. But I’m definitely looking forward to writing about the many fantastic events I’ve had the pleasure of deejaying/emceeing. My wife and business partner Janeen will also be contributing to the blog. We both plan to provide advice, tips, and share memorable stories and favorite moments from our events.

Tomorrow we’ll be at 24 Hour Fitness providing music and sound services for their All Access Pass special event day.  You don’t have to be a member of 24 Hour to come and participate.  We’ll be providing sound for the Athletic Hour fitness class that will be in the basketball gymnasium presented by Class X instructor Kenny Anderson. This is a fast paced, high energy cardio class that allows you to move at your own pace and within your personal limitations. Group fitness classes are an excellent way to stay motivated about working out and a great way to meet new friends that have similar fitness and health goals like you. 

As I said, you don’t have to be a member to come to the class.  My wife Janeen, my brother-in-law Ryan, and I attend his class regularly so we’ll also be there to participate.  Jonathan Knox of Fort Knox Media will be providing videography for this special event!

March 1, 2010, had the honor of providing DJ services for a great organization, the VIBE Foundation, an organization reaching out to our urban youth.  In addition to the event, I was able to once again work with one of the greatest event planners in the Sacramento area, Sharon Gerber of Six Degreez.  Sharon is a pleasure to work with and is as professional as they come!  The event was a huge success due to people like Sharon and all of the other vendors that helped out!
